Location. Half a mile from Daytona Beach's famed boardwalk, the Plaza Resort & Spa occupies a central location and offers amenities for business and leisure travelers. Daytona International Speedway is 6.5 miles away, while Daytona Beach International Airport is eight miles from the hotel.
Hotel Features. Soaring 13 stories above the Atlantic, the smoke-free Plaza features a pale-yellow Art Deco facade. The Spanish- style structure sports a traditional red roof. Adjacent to the elegant lobby is the Plaza Club Bar, which boasts a pool table, and Magnolia's Cafe, a Southern-style eatery. Typical fare includes pork chops and jambalaya. Additionally, hungry guests can find baked goods and a small restaurant at The Mercado, the hotel's convenience store/gift shop. For recreation, the Plaza sports an outdoor pool.
